Ceremony

6:00pmGuests may arrive to the Chicago History Museum as early as 5:20pm. We kindly ask that you arrive by 5:45pm, as our ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

Cocktail Hour

6:30pmFollowing the ceremony, we will sip cocktails on the beautiful back patio of the History Museum! (Weather Permitting)

Reception

7:30pm - 12:00amWe will move inside to the ballroom for dinner &amp; dancing the night away!

FAREWELL BRUNCH

10am - 1pm For family and out-of-town guests, please join us at Cafe Yaya to celebrate the newlyweds with a farewell brunch! Feel free to stop by anytime between 10am - 1pm.

Head to the Chicago River for the Architecture Boat Tour. This is a great way to explore our favorite city - you'll learn about Chicago's incredible architecture and history, while enjoying summertime Chi!

Walk around the Green City Farmer's Market on Saturday morning, right outside Hotel Lincoln! This is one of Noah &amp; Julie's favorite ways to spend a weekend morning.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional; gowns &amp; tuxes are preferred but not required! We would love to see everyone in fun summer colors if you have them, but absolutely not required!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Guests may arrive to the Chicago History Museum as early as 5:20pm. We kindly ask that you arrive by 5:45pm as our ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

How do I get to the Venue?

If you are staying at Hotel Lincoln, it is a 0.3 mile walk from the hotel to the Chicago History Museum's front door. Alternatively, cabs &amp; Ubers can drop guests off at the History Museum's front door on Clark Street and there will be signage to direct you to the back terrace. Please refer to the map at the top of this page for directions that take you from the Chicago History Museum's front door and parking lot to the back terrace where the Ceremony will take place. Please note: If you have limited mobility, please enter through the History Museum's front door and security will escort you through the building to the terrace.

Is Parking Available At the History Museum?

While we recommend walking from Hotel Lincoln or Ubering, should you choose to drive, paid parking is available at the CHM Lot on Stockton Drive, across the street from the History Museum entrance. Please see map at the top of this page for directions. Please bring your parking ticket to the front desk for a voucher. The History Museum is a short walk from the parking lot to the venue, so we would recommend dropping off any guests with limited mobility off at the front door of the museum to be escorted to through the museum to the back patio.

Will any events be outside?

Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the terrace of the History Museum. The terrace in back is concrete, so no need to worry about grass with heels. Our reception will be indoors.

Are children invited?

To keep our celebration within our venue's capacity, we are only able to accommodate the children who are specifically invited. When you RSVP, you'll see the names of all guests included in your invitation. If your child's name appears during the RSVP process, they are invited to join us. If their name does not appear, we respectfully ask that they not attend. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us celebrate our special day.
